Because everything was so close we walked everywhere and ended up seeing so much more of the city than we would have otherwise.
If you really enjoy walking it's only about 30 minutes to Vatican City and the Colosseum too. Easily walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navono. A short walk to the Spanish steps and in the heart of the high end shopping district with lots more food and drink options. On a beautiful street with some small cafes and restaurants. By far the highlight of the hotel was its location. We were easily able to get our questions answered to our questions despite our limited Italian. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was great - small but plenty of options and fantastic coffee and service. The curtains were nice and heavy and allowed us to sleep well after long days exploring the city. We could hear some noises in the morning coming from the breakfast room, but not too disturbing. The room was small but clean and we enjoyed the decor. We arrived early and were able to store our bags in the dining room while we waited for our room to be ready. We had a wonderful stay and felt at home at this small hotel in the perfect location.
